My name is Bill Geibler (pronounced GUY-blur), and I’m excited to announce my candidacy for the Maryland Senate in District 7, representing parts of Harford and Baltimore Counties. Although I have never run for public office before, like many of you, I've been frustrated with the current state of politics and the lack of meaningful action to support regular people and address the issues that truly matter to us and our families. Prompted by my wife’s suggestion to transform my conversations into action, I decided to step up and make a difference.

Originally from Delaware, I have called Maryland home since 2000, and I have been a resident of Harford County since 2004. Over the past 25 years, I have built a career in marketing and communications, working with a variety of local companies and agencies. This experience has given me valuable insights into the economic and regulatory challenges faced by Marylanders, and I have often helped small business owners navigate these obstacles. Currently, I serve as the Director of Marketing & Communications for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Previously, I worked for a law firm that championed the rights of marginalized and vulnerable communities, focusing on victims of nursing home abuse and neglect.

I live in Fallston with my wife, a dedicated teacher of 25 years who is also stepping into the political arena for the first time, running for the Board of Education. Together, we are raising our three children, Erik, Anna, and Jack. As an avid outdoors enthusiast, I enjoy hiking and kayaking, and I am also passionate about sculpting. I am a proud graduate of Tulane University, and I am eager to bring my skills and dedication to serving the people of District 7.
